Israeli website security co Namogoo raises $5m

The investment was made by Blumberg Capital, 83North, Inimity, Adler-Chomsky and Founders Guild.

Israeli website security company Namogoo has raised $5 million led by Blumberg Capital, 83North Venture Capital (Formerly Greylock IL), Inimity VC, Adler-Chomsky ad agency, and Founders Guild.

Namogoo was founded in 2014 by CEO Chemi Katz and COO Ohad Greenshpan. Experienced entrepreneurs, with a successful track record in developing advanced security solutions, building e-commerce sites and deep expertise in advertising and big data, Namogoo strives to solve the growing problem of client-side injected malware.

Namogoo, which is Hebrew for "vanished," estimates that 15%-30% of online users today are infected with malware they unintentionally downloaded to their computer and devices. Namogoo was founded with the goal of eliminating client-side injected malware at the brand’s website level.

The company has nine employees in its Ra'anana offices.
