ClickSoftware (Nasdaq: CKSW), which provides mobile workforce management and service optimization solutions, today announced that it was awarded a new multi-million dollar contract from an existing customer. This significant, long-term commitment will enable the customer to consolidate its disparate customer service operations into one centralized system to streamline workforce optimization and improve enterprise-wide resource management.
ClickSoftware chairman and CEO Dr. Moshe BenBassat said, "This major contract marks a robust start for ClickSoftware in 2009 following our achievements in 2008 in which the company saw significant revenue growth and an improved cash position and profitability."
The company expects to report its fourth quarter and annual financial results for 2008 on February 4, 2009. Analysts expect ClickSoftware to post non-GAAP profit of $1.8 million ($0.60 per share) for the fourth quarter of 2008 and $5 million ($0.17 per share) for 2008 as a whole.
In early morning trading today Clicksoftware's share rose 0.5% to $2.01, giving a market cap of $57.38 million.
