Neviot Nature of Galilee Ltd. (TASE:NVIO) resumed pumping water and producing bottled mineral water this morning after testing last night showed that the quality of water met the required standards.
Last week, both Neviot and Eden Springs Ltd. (Maayanot Eden) (TASE: MEYD ) were compelled to cease production, after testing for quality showed excessive turbidity in their springs.
Neviot said this morning that the return to production would be gradual and there may not be enough of their product to meet market demand in the coming days. The company stressed that the Ministry of Health had approved the resumption of production.
In a notice to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, Neviot said, "At this stage the company cannot assess the shortfall in market supply."
The company emphasized that all its produce is safe to drink.
