The Haifa District Court today rejected a request by Israel Discount Bank (TASE:DSCT) and Bank Leumi (TASE:LUMI) to appoint a receiver for Vita Pri Galil Ltd. (TASE:VITA).
The judge froze proceedings against the company for eight days and demanded that both sides present improved proposals for creditors arrangements and acquiring the factory that would prevent the workers being laid off. The next court hearing was fixed for March 5.
