Bereshit Group wins first debt recycle fund tender

In the coming days the Finance Ministry will issue a tender for a second debt recycle fund.

Bereshit Group has won the Ministry of Finance's debt recycle fund tender. The Group, which is led by Gabriel Perel and other investors raised NIS 1.5 billion and will set up a NIS 2 billion fund with the Ministry of Finance putting NIS 500 million into it.

In the coming days the Finance Ministry will issue a tender for a second debt recycle fund.

Minister of Finance Ronnie Bar-On said, 'This measure will breathe oxygen to many companies in the economy and enable them to continue their activities, while preserving the jobs of their many employees."

Six groups bid for the tender of whom two were disqualified for bidding after the tender's closing date."
