Micromedic Technologies Ltd. (TASE:MCTC) reported that it is in talks with several potential investors about an investment in the company. The investors are not connected with each other.
The terms of any potential investment, and whether it will in fact take place, has not been set.
Recently, Micromedic portfolio companies diabetes diagnostics start-up Micro Rap Ltd. and cancer diagnostic firm Biogen Ltd. obtained NIS 850,000 from the Office of the Chief Scientist to help finance development programs of NIS 1.7 million.
Shares in Micromedic rose 4.7% by mid-afternoon. The shares are up over 81% so far in 2009.
