Serbian ISP deploys Oversi technology

BeotelNet, founded in 1996, introduced the first international Internet link in Serbia.

Internet video and peer to peer caching solutions technology developer Oversi, said today that Serbian Internet service provider (ISP) BeotelNet has deployed Petah Tikva-based Oversi’s OverCache video caching platform in its Belgrade headquarters.

BeotelNet director Radivoje Milićević said, "We can now guarantee customers faster video downloads and the highest-quality Internet experience for both video and P2P applications.”

Oversi president and CEO David Tolub said, “OverCache was originally developed as a scalable solution for large carrier-grade networks, providing redundancy, resiliency, flexibility and easy installation. The BeotelNet deployment shows how our scalable technology can be applied to mid-size and smaller operators as well."
