Ventilator co Flight Medical wins CE Mark certification

Flight Medical plans to file an application for its ventilator with the FDA in the first half of the year.

Medtechnica Ltd. (TASE: MEDI) subsidiary Flight Medical Innovations Ltd. (TASE: FLGM) has obtained EU CE Mark certification for its new ventilator, the Flight 60. The company believes that it will begin sales of the product in Europe during the second half of the year.

Lod-based Flight Medical added that it plans to file an application for the ventilator with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the first half of the year.

Medtechnica, a medical equipment supplier, owns 67.4% of Flight Medical. Flight Medical's share rose 6.9% in morning trading to NIS 0.45, giving a market cap of NIS 122 million. Medtechnica's share was unchanged at NIS 27.89, giving a market cap of NIS 379 million.
