Elovitch renames Smile as B Communications

At today's general shareholders meeting, Smile's shareholders will be asked to approve the acquisition of the controlling interest in Bezeq.

Shaul Elovitch-controlled 012 Smile.Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq:SMLC; TASE: SMLC) has changed its name to B Communications Ltd.

At today's general shareholders meeting, Smile's shareholders will be asked to approve the acquisition of the controlling interest in Bezeq The Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) and the Smile's participation in the secondary offering by its parent company, Internet Gold Golden Lines Ltd. (Nasdaq: IGLD; TASE:IGLD).

Elovitch sold Smile's businesses to Joseph Maiman-controlled Ampal-American Israel Corporation (Nasdaq: AMPL; TASE:AMPL), which set up a new subsidiary 012 Smile Telecom Ltd. for the business.
