Former prime minister Ehud Olmert is the "senior public figure" suspected of accepting bribes in the Holyland affair.

The Rishon LeZion Magistrates Court Judge Abraham Heiman today lifted on all details relating to the suspects in the case, except for the identity of the state's witness.

Olmert returned to Israel at 1 am this morning. No police investigators were waiting for him at the airport. Olmert had been abroad for the past several weeks, and was due to return to Israel on Friday, but brought forward his return because his name had been linked to the Holyland affair.

The police team investigating the Holyland affair today arrested another former Jerusalem city council official, who also serves as the director of a large construction company. A gag order still applies to his identity. He is due to brought before the Rishon LeZion Magistrates Court later today, after the court hears the extension of the remand of Adv. Uri Messer.
