Dapei Zahav buys home design portal Adira

According to Google Trends, 15,000 people visit the portal daily.

Dapei Zahav Ltd. (Golden Pages) has acquired 51% of home design portal Adira from the Israeli Building Center, reportedly for a few million shekels.

Adira was founded in late 2008 as a joint venture between the Israeli Building Center and the shareholders of second-hand classified ads portal Yad2, with the goal of becoming Israel's leading portal in its field. The Israeli Building Center later bought out its partner in Adira.

Adira's content covers a range of topics, including home design and renovations, as well as guidebooks, articles, pictures, and video clips. According to Google Trends, 15,000 people visit the portal daily.

The acquisition of Adira comes after a long time-out in Dapei Zahav's acquisitions policy, due to its financial problems and debt settlements.
