Cloud computing start-up ZeRTO Ltd. has raised $6.2 million. The company yesterday raised $6 million in a financing round from Battery Ventures and Greylock Partners, and $200,000 in seed-stage financing from Greylock in January, according to IVC.
The company has been operating under the radar since it was founded a year ago. The company's website only states "next generation data services dynamic IT environments", together with an e-mail link.
ZeRTO was founded by CEO Ziv Kedem, and his brother CTO Oded Kedem, who previously co-founded Kashya, which was sold to EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC) for $153 million in 2006.
Ziv Kedem confirmed the investment, but declined to provide additional details.
