Former PM bureau chief named light rail mediator

Dov Weisglass will represent the Citypass consortium on the three-member mediator panel.

Sources inform ''Globes'' that former Prime Minister's Bureau chief and Bezeq chairman Adv. Dov Weisglass has been appointed as one of the mediators in the Jerusalem light rail mediation panel. He is replacing Adv. Yoram Ravad, who resigned over concerns about a conflict of interests.

Weisglass will serve alongside Judge Emeritus Boaz Okon.

The mediation is between Jerusalem light rail franchisee Citypass and the government. Okon represents the government, Weisglass represents Citypass, and Former President of the Supreme Court Judge Emeritus Meir Shamgar will be the deciding mediator.

The mediation is over the government's claims against Citypass for not meeting its commitments or the project's timetable.
