Elbit Systems partners with German co Grob in aircraft development

The G 120TP will have three configurations - a side-by-side aircraft, a tandem-seat aircraft and a four-seat aircraft.

Elbit Systems and Grob Aircraft AG to Partner in the Development of the G-120TP Family of Trainers Combining Grob's extensive aircraft design experience and Elbit Systems' advanced avionics capabilities and leadership in the global training market Defense electronics company Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) joined German aircraft manufacturer Grob Aircraft AG in the development of new trainer aircraft the G 120TP.

The G 120TP will have three configurations - a Side-by-Side Aircraft, a Tandem-Seat Aircraft and a Four-Seat Aircraft.

The plane will be manufactured by Grob, and will feature an Elbit Systems avionic suite which includes a glass cockpit with a high level of mission simulation capability incorporating Virtual Tactical Training.

Grob Aircraft AG, based in the southern Region of Bavaria, is a subsidiary of H3 Aerospace which is privately owned by a Munich based group of investors.

Elbit Systems shares were down about 0.36% in early afternoon Nasdaq trading, reaching $49.60 per share.
