Internet video firm SundaySky, which develops platforms for producing video programs on commercial sites, has raised $9 million. This round of fund raising was led by Norwest Venture Partners (NVP) and included previous investors Carmel Ventures and Globespan Capital Partners.
SundaySky has raised $17 million to date including the current round of funding. Following the latest investment, NVP's Israel representative Dror Nahumi will join SundaySky's board of directors.
SundaySky was founded in 2006 by Yaniv Axen and Shmulik Weller, who serves as CEO.
The company said that the capital raised in the latest round of funding will be used to strengthen SundaySky's marketing and sales network, which provides software according to SaaS requirements.
