Elbit unit Elisra wins Korea electronic warfare deal

The contract includes missile warning systems.

Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) subsidiary Elisra Electronic Systems Ltd. won a contract to supply the Korean government with airborne electronic warfare (EW) suites and missile warning systems (MWS) for its ROKAF CN-235 transporters.

Elbit Systems said that the deal is worth about $29 million.

The advanced and integrative EW suites include protection systems against various threats.

Elisra CEO Itzhak Gat said, "The selection of Elisra's systems by the Republic of Korea, time and again within the last two years, attests to the high level of customer satisfaction and confidence in the company's products and capabilities." Gat added, "These programs are further indication of Elisra's success in Korea and of the recognition of our technological leadership in the EW field".
