Galia Maor joins an elite list of the world's top financial executives, including Goldman Sachs's Lloyd Blackfein and JP Morgan's Jamie Dimon.
Bank Leumi (TASE:LUMI) CEO Galia Maor has been named to participate in a working group of 27 international bankers and accountants who will advise the Russian government on how to make the country an international financial center.
Other members of the team formed by Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev include Goldman Sachs Group Inc. chairman and CEO Lloyd Blackfein, Bank of America Corp. CEO Brian Moynihan, JP Morgan Chase & Co. CEO Jamie Dimon, and Blackstone Group CEO Stephen Schwarzman.
The working group will also include three heads of major accounting firms Timothy Flynn, Dennis Nally and James Turley, the heads of accounting firms KPMG LLP, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Ernst & Young LLP, respectively.
