Bank Leumi appoints four new directors

The shareholders meeting also decided that former chairman Eitan Raff will receive a bonus of NIS 1.96 million.

Bank Leumi (TASE:LUMI) chose four new directors at last night's shareholders meeting.

Tsipi Samet was chosen as an external director and Amos Sapir, Adv. Miri Katz and David Avner were chosen as directors. Unsuccessful candidates were economist Shlomo Maoz, Adv. Moshe Gavish, Dr. Ra'anan Cohen, Reuven Kuvent, Miri Lent-Sharir, Eliezer Carmel, Eitan Levy, Dov Naveh, Yaron Kimchi and Yehoshua Ross.

In addition, it was decided that those owning stocks on June 12 will receive an additional dividend of NIS 400 million from 2010 profits. The distribution will take place on June 28.

It was also decided that former chairman of the board, Eitan Raff, will receive a bonus of NIS 1.96 million and the current chairman, David Brodet, will receive a bonus of NIS 650,000.
