kika hiring 200 employees for Netanya furniture store

The furniture chain will be holding a job fair tomorrow on the site where the store is being built in Netanya.

On September 6, international furniture chain kika will be opening its first store in Israel, in the Netanya industrial zone where the well-known IKEA Israel store burned down a few months ago. kika, also a known furniture chain, will be a direct competitor of IKEA. kika will be holding a job fair tomorrow on the site where the store is being built in Netanya, with the goal of hiring 200 employees for the new store.

Stands will be set up in the store in which the chain's human resources department, store manager and sales managers will hold initial interviews with potential employees, and will disseminate basic information about working for the chain. The company is looking for sales staff for the various departments: furniture, interior design, kitchen and babies' world.

"We are looking for interior designers, interior design students, as well as sales people," said kika Israel human resources director Meirav Nof. "kika will become one of the largest employers in the furniture and home design sector, and we are offering promotion opportunity and broad development to those who join the chain."

kika operates 72 stores in Europe and has annual sales of €1 billion. The chain employs 8,000 workers and the store being built in Israel will cover 18,000 square meters. The store is being built by Ashtrom Properties Ltd. (TASE:ASPR)
