Movie clip search co Anyclip teams with Dailymotion

This is Anyclip's third collaboration, following agreements with Hollywood's Vivendi Entertainment and Universal Studios.

Movie clip search company Anyclip Ltd. has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Paris-based Dailymotion, an independent video and entertainment website. This is Anyclip's third collaboration, following agreements with Hollywood's Vivendi Entertainment and Universal Studios.

The agreement with Dailymotion will give its hundreds of millions of users access to AnyClip's database of thousands of movies and 50,000 clips from licensed full-length feature films, including titles and clips from major movie studios such as Universal Pictures, Vivendi Entertainment and Indie distribution firms such as First Look and Virgil Films.

Using AnyClip's technology, Dailymotion users will be able to play movie clips and share them on social networks, edit them, and view the full-length movie for a fee. Dailymotion has 114 million monthly unique visitors.

AnyClip CEO Oren Nauman said, "Our partnership with Dailymotion grants us the unique opportunity to integrate our thousands of movies, and 50,000 film clips catalog with a platform that has 1.2 billion videos viewed per month, offering exposure to a vast worldwide audience, and present our content in 16 languages in 34 countries. This is the first stage of our collaboration with Dailymotion, which will be expanded in the coming months to allow entertainment buffs to enjoy additional content online in a friendly, quality, and legal way."

Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP) and GTI Capital Group founded Anyclip in 2007. It has 40 employees.
