Strauss Group Ltd. (TASE:STRS) is taking additional streamlining measures and is reducing staffing levels at its Petah Tikva headquarters. The steps include firing dozens of employees, while production staff will not be affected.
Strauss recently announced that it was improving employment conditions for lower paid workers, and these incentives come at the expense of other costs, including workforce reductions.
Strauss Group said, "Due to recent changes that began in the external environment alongside the company's strategy and changing consumption, Strauss's marketing headquarters is currently being streamlined and is undergoing focused adaptation and changes in accordance with the spirit of the times."
