D Medical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: DMED); TASE:DMDC) announced today that it has received CE Mark approval for its Spring Zone Insulin Delivery System, which replaces D Medical's first generation Spring ADI insulin pump.
Earlier this week, D Medical's Spring Universal Infusion Set insulin pump was listed in the American Diabetes Association 2012 Consumer Guide, published by the Diabetes Forecast Magazine. D Medical CEO Efri Argaman said, "We are pleased that, as we are expanding our US distribution network, our diabetes product is gaining market acceptance, evidenced by being listed in the 'New and Notable' section of the industry’s most prominent diabetes association consumer guide."
D Medical COO Hezkiah Tsoory said, "CE Mark approval is an important milestone that has arrived at the perfect time, since we are ready for commercial collaborations for the pump. We are continuing with the penetration of D Medical's Spring Universal Infusion Set in European and North American markets.
