Ragen was found guilty three months ago of copying passages from writer Sara Shapiro.
Novelist Naomi Ragen has been ordered by the Jerusalem District Court to pay NIS 233,000 to the writer Sara Shapiro for stealing parts of her book "Growing With My Children: A Jewish Mother's Diary."
Three months ago the court ruled that Ragen had knowingly copied passages from Shapiro's book in her novel "Sotah."
The amount paid by Ragen includes Shapiro's lawyers fees.
