Apple to launch new iPad in Israel on April 27

Distributor iDigital said the new iPad will range from NIS 2,349 (for the Wifi version with 16 giga memory) to NIS 3,899 (for the 3G + Wifi with 32 giga memory).

Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) will launch the new iPad in Israel on Friday, April 27 - one of the last countries where the device will be launched. The new iPad will be available at Apple's official distributor, iDigital Ltd.

Shortly after Apple announced the new iPad in early March, iDigital said that prices for the new iPad will range from NIS 2,349 (for the Wifi version with 16 giga memory) to NIS 3,899 (for the 3G + Wifi with 32 giga memory). It said that the prices were unlikely to change by much, except to take exchange rate changes into account.

Apple will also launch the new iPad on April 27 in Colombia, Estonia, India, Latvia, Lithuania, South Africa and Thailand. April 20 launches will be in Croatia, Cyprus, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St. Maarten, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
