Smartphone navigation app Waze Ltd. will launch its fuel station service in Israel tomorrow. The service provides information on prices at fuel stations in a locality.
The service will automatically be updated tonight, and users of the software will obtain prices for self-service gasoline as a default option while driving, or can pick alternative variables.
Waze has already begun updating gasoline prices on its application, and use of the service has demonstrated that it is possible to easily find the price differences in a given geographical area. Users can also find out about gasoline prices in other areas. If a user needs to fill up during a trip, he can add this as a navigation goal, and the app will notify him how long it will take to reach the fuel station.
The app also offers coupons at fuel stations, and reminds users about them when they arrive.
Waze launched its fuel station service in the US last month, and Israel is the second country to obtain the service.
