Air Force brings home wounded from Bulgaria

Two Israel Air Force C-130 Hercules have returned to Israel dozens of the people wounded in yesterday's terrorist attack in Burgas.

Two Israel Air Force C-130 Hercules this afternoon returned to Israel with dozens of the people wounded in yesterday's terrorist attack on a bus at Burgas Airport in Bulgaria. Air Force medical teams and rescue units were on the flights.

One plane carried 35 wounded, and the second plane carried the seriously wounded people, who had been taken to hospital in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia. The wounded will be taken to hospitals in Israel.

The two planes departed for Burgas shortly after yesterday's attack with a medical team headed by IDF Deputy Chief Medical Officer Colonel Dudu Dagan. IDF, ZAKA Disaster Victim Identification teams, and Magen David Adom teams are in Burgas to identify the five Israelis killed in the attack and coordinate the return of the bodies to Israel.
