AEL Sistemas will supply unmanned turrets for Iveco APCs to the Brazilian Army.
Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) subsidiary AEL Sistemas SA has received an initial $15 million order for the supply of unmanned turrets for Iveco 6x6 armored personnel carriers (APCs) for the Brazilian Army, as part of its Guarani Project. Deliveries will be made over two years.
The order is part of a $260 million contract, which AEL won in January 2011 for the supply of its UT30 BR 30mm unmanned turrets to the Brazilian Army.
