Izzy Cohen will succeed Shy Talmon as CEO of Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings Ltd. (TASE: CLIS), the company informed the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) today, confirming earlier reports by "Globes." Talmon's contract expires at the end of February 2013, and he will not extend it beyond the five years set in his contract dated February 2008. "Globes" first reported in September that Cohen was a candidate to succeed Talmon.

Clal Insurance is a subsidiary of IDB Holding Corp. Ltd. (TASE:IDBH), controlled by Nochi Dankner. Clal Insurance's board of directors is discussing Cohen's appointment as CEO today.
