In the program Golan spoke about the new mobile carrier's latest aggressive marketing campaign (unlimited cellular plans for NIS 49 per month). He also discusses his competitors and the chances of Golan Telecom surviving on an intensively competitive market.
You talk about having signed up 150,000 subscribers so far, but isn't that a small number considering your packages?
"It's an achievement and very very great success. We've only existed for six months. We began from nothing."
Do you feel like David fighting Goliath?
"Absolutely, and I can tell you that if God forbid one morning you find my dead body. Well I have no desire to commit suicide - just so you know."
Golan insists that five cellular carriers can continue to operate over the long term and that he can turn a profit from unlimited cellular packages for NIS 49 per month.
