Housing Ministry markets 5,762 more homes

The latest wave of homes on offer includes 1,048 housing units over the Green Line.

The Ministry of Housing and Construction has announced that it is marketing 5.762 more housing units. This latest marketing wave comes less than a month after the ministry and Israel Land Administration (ILA) announced that it was marketing 3,817 housing units. With the exception of 404 housing units in the latest marketing announcement that were also included in the last announcement, this means a total of 9,175 new homes being marketed by the ministry. The ministry and ILA's announcement refers to lots and not tenders already closed and marketing will not be closed in 2012 but continue into 2013.

as part of this latest marketing move tenders will be published throughout the country. The latest marketing step includes 404 housing units in Jerusalem's Schneller, 238 houses in Tel Mond in the Sharon region, 486 housing units in Or Akiva near Hadera, 447 housing units in Nahariya's Givat Ussishkin neighborhood, and 40 units in the Arab town of Faradis.

Other tenders will be for 90 housing units in the Tel Aviv-Jaffa neighborhoods of Ajami and Givat Alia, 47 units in Yavne, 84 units in Herzliya's Neve Israel neighborhood, and 26 units in Ramat Gan.

The latest marketing plans also include settlements over the Green Line with 1,048 homes in Betar Illit, Karnei Shomron, Efrat, Emmanuel, Geva Binyamin and Givat Zeev.
