Better Place strives to rehabilitate public image

In mid-January, Better Place switched its public relations from Euro Communications Ltd. to Debby Communications Ltd.

Now that electric car venture Better Place Inc. has appointed a new acting CEO earlier this week, strengthening Israel Corporation's (TASE: ILCO) control of the company, it is now turning its attention to its media relations in an effort to rehabilitate its image.

In mid-January, Better Place switched its public relations from Euro Communications Ltd. to Debby Communications Ltd. which previously held the account.

Better Place also rehired Shiri Krispin as its spokeswoman and member of management. She served as the company's spokeswoman for four years, and was responsible for its media relations and strategy until she resigned in August 2012. She will now run the company's internal media and public relations.
