A British Jewish family has bought a 395-square meter four-room apartment with a 25-square meter balcony on a high floor in the Meier on Rothschild Tower for NIS 21 million, the building's developers, Berggruen Residential Ltd. (TASE:BRGN.B1) and Hagag Group Real Estate Development Ltd. (TASE: HGG) report. The sale was made at more than NIS 53,000 per square meter.
The 42-storey Meier on Rothschild Tower, designed by Richard Meier is in the advanced shell construction stage, and is due to be completed within two years. The developers have sold more than 65% of the apartments in the project.
Berggruen Residential CEO Yigal Zemach said, "The tower has an international reputation, and people from all over the world are interested in it. We expect to complete the complete the skeleton within six months, and complete work within a year.
