Alvarion and Aptilo Networks are providing a solution to meet the growing use bandwidth-hungry applications on mobile devices, particularly video. The solution meets the scalability, reliability and security needs of operators deploying large scale Wi-Fi networks for hot spots, hot zones and mobile data offloading, providing network capacity and coverage in high-traffic areas where data congestion is overloading existing cellular networks.
Alvarion EVP marketing & customer services Ulik Broida said, “Mobile data offloading represents a significant opportunity for Alvarion and we are excited to be working with a market leader such as Aptilo Networks in this area."
