The electric car venture sold 297 Renault Fluence electric cars in the first quarter of 2013.
Electric car venture Better Place enjoyed improved sales in the first quarter of 2013 according to the latest figures from the Motor Vehicles Importers Association.
Better Place sold 297 Renault Fluence ZE cars in the first quarter of 2013 more than half of the 518 cars the company sold in all of 2012, and far more than the 63 cars sold in the preceding quarter. Better Place sold only 350 cars in the first eight months of 2012.
But even the current rate of sales is far below the 4,000 cars annually that the company targeted at the start of 2012.
