Erez Vigodman tipped for Teva chief

Vigodman succeeded Shlomo Yanai as CEO of Makhteshim Agan when Yanai was appointed Teva CEO seven years ago.

Makhteshim Agan Industries Ltd. CEO Erez Vigodman, who also serves as a director at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA), is one of the leading candidates in the race that has opened for Teva CEO. Vigodman succeeded Shlomo Yanai as CEO of Makhteshim Agan when Yanai was appointed Teva CEO seven years ago.

Teva stunned the capital market on Wednesday, when it announced during the trading session on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) that president and CEO Jeremy Levin was stepping down. Teva VP and CFO Eyal Desheh was appointed acting CEO.
