Recriminations are being exchanged between management, workers and the government over who is responsible.
Some 33,000 Israeli households remain without electricity more than 24 hours after the peak of yesterday's storm, the Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) (TASE: ELEC.B22) reported this evening. Recriminations are being exchanged between management, workers and the government over who is responsible for the situation.
The IEC is reducing the number of households without electricity but many areas in the following locations remained without power on Monday evening: Kfar Saba, Ra'anana, Ramat Hasharon, Herzliya, Netanya and many villages and towns in the Sharon region.
The IEC said that 300 high tension lines were damaged and 1,000s of pylons felled.
