The new employees will work at Apple Israel's new Herzliya headquarters and Haifa office.

Rumors of Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: APPL) CEO Tim Cook's arrival in Israel to inaugurate the company's new Herzliya headquarters seem to have been premature. However, the company is undergoing major expansion in Israel and has posted 49 new positions that it is hiring on LinkedIn for its new offices in Herzliya and its Haifa office.

Among the jobs listed are: Hardware Stability Test Engineers, Design and Integration Engineers, CAD Engineers, SoC Back-End Engineers, Analog IP Design engineers, and Computer Vision Algorithm Managers.

Apple Israel's new 12,500 square meters Herzliya headquarters, leased from Bayside Land Corp. Ltd.(Gav Yam) (TASE: BYSD1), was designed by architect Avner Yashar. The building houses 800 employees, who work for flash memory developer Anobit and movement sensor developer PrimeSense, acquired by Apple in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
