The average salary in current prices at the end of April was NIS 9,767, the Central Bureau of Statistics reports.
The average salary in Israel continues to rise, albeit at a slower pace. Figures published today by the Central Bureau of Statistics show that the average monthly salary at the end of April was NIS 9,767 in current prices and NIS 9,426 in fixed prices (excluding the rise in the Consumer Price Index). Trend data show an increase in the average salary per salaried position in current prices.
The average salary per salaried position in current prices was up by an annualized 2.5% in February-April, following an annualized 3.5% rise in November 2015-January 2016.
In fixed prices, the average salary per salaried position rose by an annualized 3.1% in February-April, following an annualized 4.3% increase November 2015-January 2016.
