Tel Aviv fourth most expensive city for beer

GoEuro found a 330-ml bottle of beer costs £1.95. Only Oslo, Zurich and Tokyo cost more.

A study by travel site GoEuro has found that Tel Aviv has some of the most expensive beer in the world. It ranks Tel Aviv in fourth place: a 330-ml bottle of beer costs £1.95. Tel Aviv ranks behind after Oslo (£2.87), Zurich (£2.46), and Tokyo: (£2.45).

According to GoEuro, Warsaw has the cheapest beer, at £0.84 for a 330-ml bottle, followed by Berlin (£0.66), Prague (£0.75), Lisbon, and Dublin (both at £0.78).

In Rio de Janeiro, one of the host cities for the 2014 World Cup, a 330-ml bottle of beer costs £1.39.
