BlackRock Managing Director Stephen Cohen spoke at the "Globes"-BDO Ziv Haft Capital Market Conference.
BlackRock Managing Director and Chief Investment Strategist Stephen Cohen, who came to Israel for the 2014 "Globes"-BDO Ziv Haft Capital Market Conference, said: “There are four big questions in the global economy: Where are we in the growth cycle? What do the central banks plan to do in the future? What will the companies do in the future? Where will investors find value and returns in the future?”
According to Cohen, “The good news is that growth is positive in developed markets. It is not accelerating, but it is at least stable. The bad news is that it’s still not good enough.”
Cohen added, “Inflation is very low. This is a problem across the developed world, and no one knows how to combat it. Another concern is the emerging markets, which have disappointed in the last year or two.”
