The Consumer Price Index has now risen for four successive months but fallen 0.4% in the past year.
Israel's Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 0.3% in June, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported today, slightly above market expectations of a 0.2% rise. After a period of negative inflation, the CPI has now risen for four successive months, although it has fallen 0.4% over the past 12 months and by 0.2% since the start of 2015 There were notable price rises in clothing (9.8%), and dairy products (2.6%). Notable declines were in fresh vegetables (2.4%) and fresh fruit (8.3%).
