On Sunday, Nochi Dankner's attorneys, Shmuel Cassouto, Guy Noff, and Ronen Bar-on, dismissed the allegations of Moti Ben-Moshe and his company Extra Holding GmbH that Dankner was engaged in persecution and character assassination of Ben-Moshe through the filing of a false affidavit and fabricated evidence.
In a press release, Dankner's lawyers said, "The press conference is nothing more than Ben-Moshe's attempt to make threats and divert the public discussion from the only mystery that is important to the Israeli public: who is really behind Extra Holdings, and what are its real sources of income."
The lawyers said, "The threats and intimidation will not prevent Nochi Dankner from submitting all the evidence for a genuine review by the court. This indicates the pressure on Ben-Moshe and his fear of real exposure in court."
The lawyers continued, "We invite the Israel Police to open today an investigation into the Ben-Moshe affair so that the truth will be revealed in full."
