The $54 million Israeli Ministry of Defense contracts will be performed over 6 years by Elbit unit Elop.
Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) announced today that it has been awarded contracts by Israel's Ministry of Defense (IMOD) worth about $54 million. The contracts for the supply and maintenance of advanced electro-optics (EO) systems will be performed over six years by Elbit Systems unit Electro-optics Elop Ltd., which specializes in the field of electro-optics.
Elop general manager Adi Dar said, "We are proud to be awarded these contracts, attesting to the company's technological capabilities that led to the development of these systems. This is the result of our continuous efforts and investments in research and development."
