The contract, with a Western European country, is for Elbit's E-LynX Software Defined Radios.
Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) announced today that it had been awarded a contract from a Western European country for the supply of tactical mobile radios, from the new and advanced E-LynX Software Defined Radios (SDR) family. The contract, worth approximately $20 million, will be performed over a three-year period.
Elbit says that The E-LynX radio solution offers reliable voice, data and video services simultaneously, along with integrated blue force tracking capabilities, both in narrow and wide band waveforms. It is based on combat proven Mobile Ad- Hoc Networking (MANET) capabilities. The E-LynX solution is designed to serve as the mobile networking backbone for modern Battle Management Systems (BMS) and soldier systems.
