For the tenth successive year, "Globes" has asked investors, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists to rate the 10 leading startups in Israel. The survey is the most comprehensive in Israel, and aims to discover the companies that will be prominent in Israeli high-tech in the coming years. Previous winners have been Mellanox Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq:MLNX), Actimize, OpTier, Amobee, Amimon, Provigent, Outbrain, Fiverrr, and MyHeritage.
This year the rankings are:
1. "Globes" most promising start-up of 2014 is GetTaxi, which operates a taxi hailing application. The company's 2014 sales turnover is projected at $100 million, and it sees this growing by 400% next year. GetTaxi's value is estimated at $2-3 billion.

2. ironSource, which has developed an applications recommendation engine. In August, the company raised $85 million, and industry sources estimate that it will make a $65 million profit this year.

3. FeeX uses crowd wisdom to save users money on the management fees they pay pension funds. Some 70,000 people have already used the service and saved on paper an aggregate $300 million. One of the company's founders, Uri Levine, was a co-founder of Waze.

4. Any.do has developed a time management application. The company has so far raised $7 million and employs 14 people. About 10 million people use its application.

5. Consumer Physics has developed an application for analyzing materials. It has raised an impressive $2.75 million in crowd sourcing. The company's product is initially being used for identifying ingredients of food.

6. ZOOZ has developed a payments platform for businesses. The company's application is connected to some 40 clearers and provides service to 1,500 customers around the world, including retail giants the size of Ikea and Groupon.
7. Kaltura has developed an open source platform for managing and presenting video content. Earlier this year, Kaltura raised $47 million in a round led by the SAP investment fund, and it expects to expand its workforce to 400 by the end of the year.
8. enVerid Systems deals in energy saving in air conditioning systems. The company has raised $5 million so far, in addition to grants from the BIRD Foundation and a $2.5 million grant recently received from the US government.
9. Arineta has developed the first CT device for imaging the heart. In 2010, the company signed a strategic agreement with General Electric. It has raised tens of millions of dollars from private investors, Chinese companies and strategic partners.
10. Sisense has developed a business analysis system. The company has raised some $50 million since it was founded, and it provides services to customers like Samsung, eBay, and ESPN.
