IoT co Seebo teams with Autodesk Forge

The integration follows strategic investment by Autodesk in Seebo’s Software as a Service platform

Tel Aviv-based Seebo has announced integration between the Autodesk Forge platform and the Seebo platform, to transform 3D product designs into smart, connected products. This integration follows the strategic investment by Autodesk in Seebo’s Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. With this integration, Seebo’s customers are now able to build smart products on its platform using a 3D product design interface. Additionally, Autodesk users designing 3D models on the Autodesk Forge platform can now add smart functionality for IoT enablement using the Seebo platform.

"We’re very excited about the integration between Autodesk Forge and Seebo, which will provide Autodesk customers with access to some of the most cutting-edge IoT development tools available. The joint platform allows manufacturers to tap into the world of IoT efficiently and cost-effectively," said Lior Akavia, co-founder and CEO of Seebo.

Seebo provides a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for developing Internet of Things (IoT) and smart, connected products. Seebo’s technology intuitively connects Autodesk design apps like Fusion 360 and enables users to drag and drop components (such as connectivity, motion and location features, etc.) into a product design framework, to transform simple products into smart products.

The ability to plan, build and integrate smart products using one comprehensive IoT platform dramatically decreases development costs, reduces costs per unit and streamlines the smart product development process. It enables all users, from small startups to enterprise customers, to easily and reliably build high quality smart products and take them to market quickly.
