M-commerce company Celltick Ltd. has announced another collaboration agreement. Today, just ahead of the flood of announcements from Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the company announced a partnership with Deutsche Telekom AG. Under the agreement, Deutsche Telekom carriers will market a customized version of Celltick’s Start interface.
The partnership will allow Deutsche Telekom to provide its subscribers with a customized interface that includes single-touch access to their favorite and most frequently used applications and functions from the mobile phone's start screen. Celltick’s Start will be actively installed in telephones that Deutsche Telekom sells in Europe, allowing it to provide a unique user experience on all of the group's Android telephones, thereby differentiating it from its competitors.
Celltick has been in business since 2003 and has raised $42 million. The company, which specializes in mobile marketing and advertising, has over the years amassed partnerships with dozens of mobile services providers around the world.
"We are extremely pleased and proud to have been selected as a partner of choice by Deutsche Telekom," said Celltick CEO said Ronen Daniel. "We are extremely glad to have Deutsche Telekom be our first partner to launch Start based services in Western Europe."
