Two years after merging with Zaltzman, Gilat, Knoller, Graus, Salomon & Co, advocate Eitan Epstein is splitting from his partners at the merged firm EKT (Epstein, Knoller, Tenenboim & Co) and merging with M. Firon & Co one of the largest, and leading law firms in Israel.
Epstein joins the office with 23 other lawyers, including 10 partners, specializing in several of M. Firon & Co’s core sectors, including mergers and acquisitions, antitrust, and international operations.
The lawyers from Epstein’s office will join the 140 currently working at M. Firon & Co and the combined office will cross the 161-lawyer threshold, making it one of the five largest law offices in Israel.
The 60-year-old Epstein is considered one of the top advocates in Israel; he has more than 30 years of professional experience. Epstein, who joined M. Firon & Co as a senior partner, represents the Israeli interests of Argentinean businessman Eduardo Elsztain owner of the IDB Group as well as those of Toshiba, Mastercard, Hadassah Hospital, and DHL.
Firon & Co was founded in 1950 and is considered among Israel’s leading law offices. Led by Adv. Zvi Firon, the firm has been consistently ranked as one of the top domestic law offices by both Israeli and international rating agencies, including Dun & Bradstreet, Chambers and Partners, IFLR, Legal 500 and BDI Code.
The list of M. Firon’s notable clients includes, Elbit Systems, Pfizer, M3, Dan Hotels, GlaxoSmithKline, Ashtrom Group, Clalit, and Bank Leumi.
The merger was a result of the long-standing relationship between Epstein and Firon, and because Epstein’s office did not integrate perfectly with Knoller’s office.
