UK carrier Monarch Airlines will launch Tel Aviv-Manchester flights from April 16 2016. Bookings have already begun for the three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. After more than a decade in which Monarch stopped flying to Israel, the airline has returned to the country big-time. On December 3, Monarch began two routes with thrice-weekly operations from Luton airport near London to Ben Gurion airport and weekly flights each Thursday from Ovda near Eilat to Luton.
