More stabbing attacks in Jerusalem

There have been terrorist attacks today in Pisgat Ze'ev, Ammunition Hill and at the Lions Gate.

In the latest of a spate of terror attacks in Jerusalem today, a 20 year old Israeli has been seriously injured in Pisgat Ze'ev after being stabbed by a terrorist. In the same attack a 16 year old was stabbed and lightly injured by a second terrorist. One terrorist was shot dead and the second captured.

Just an hour earlier, there was a terror attack at Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem, in which a border policeman has been lightly injured, after being stabbed. An 18 year old woman was shot following the attack and is reportedly suffering medium to serious wounds.

The border policeman stopped the woman in Barlev Street because he felt that she was acting suspiciously. When the policeman called her over to speak to her, she stabbed him, and he shot and injured her. The 20 year-old border policeman has been taken to Hadassah Mount Scopus hospital suffering light stab wounds to the upper part of his body. Full details of the condition of the terrorist have not been disclosed and she is also being treat at Haddasah Mount Scopus hospital.

This morning a Palestinian was stopped at the Lion's Gate entering Jerusalem's Old City after arousing the suspicions of border policemen. The Palestinian drew a knife and stabbed a policeman but failed to injure him because he was wearing a protective vest. The policeman shot the assailant dead.
